“It will never work!”

That’s what they told Benoît Champliaud when he presented one of his projects to experts in his field. But Benoît Champliaud is not one to stay quiet. He is more the type to try to shake things up, even if it means not conforming to the norms. Let’s take a look back at his journey, a checkpoint, and an exclusive announcement. Yes.

It was 7 years ago

In 2016, we talked about him, already, as one of the personalities to follow, with great potential for the future. In an article dated May 12, 2016, we presented his rather unconventional profile. Persistent like few, an entrepreneur with a touch of everything, with a good sense of humor, and, not often mentioned, a large dose of humility.

An Unconventional Journey

His school years were not exactly smooth sailing. With a high school diploma and three years of training in cabinetmaking, his teachers sometimes reminded him that he might not go very far in life. But what can you do? When people tell him that kind of thing, Benoît is more inclined to step out of the box to prove them wrong. He belongs to the generation that grew up with the living room computer. But unlike others, he doesn’t play Sims or Call of Duty. He prefers to code… and maybe do a bit of hacking. White Hat, of course!

At the age of 20, he founded his first gaming company, then a digital communication company, the first of its kind for SMEs. But Benoît Champliaud is also Super Benoît, the hacker who in 2012 at the Epitech Nantes campus, during the SEO Camp Day, presented AI as a future replacement for humans in text processing, especially articles (not this one, promised [Ed.]). Some took him for an eccentric oddball back then. It takes more to stop him, as you may have guessed. He then ventured into online reputation, SEO, and cybersecurity.

And it’s not over!

Since our last article, Benoît Champliaud has further developed his activities. Yes, again. In 2020, he established a structure dedicated to cybersecurity: Hexaforensics. He was then supported by the Luxfactory investment fund created in 1995 by Jérôme Grandidier, a Luxembourg tech expert and his lifelong mentor, unfortunately one of the first victims of COVID-19, to whom he dedicates each of his successes, including this article.

In 2021, he founded MyProfilia, which helps understand the personalities of prospects using their LinkedIn page, the same project he heard would “never work.” In 2022, Celestia was born, a structure offering innovative technical services to salespeople. But years only have 365 days, weeks have 7 days, and days have 24 hours. And finally…

2023 is here

This year is quite special for him because in April, the former investigator sold MyProfilia to Humanlinker (€3 million raised since inception), which invited him to join the board to support the group.

This September, it’s Hexaforensics’ turn, it’s still fresh, to be sold to Stéphane Michelot, a familiar name in the industry. According to T.M., an IT expert, it’s a feat to sell two companies in less than a year, especially when investment is slowing down across the board.

Time for Evaluation

Oh no. Not yet. Because he’s not about to slow down anytime soon. While we might suggest he take a vacation to relax a bit, he has no intention of stopping anytime soon. On the contrary. We announced big news coming soon, and it’s indeed very soon. We’ve managed to get some information about what’s brewing. At the end of September, he will announce the acquisition of a new, quite impressive technology in a field he knows well. So, he will acquire both the technology and the company with the name: And here’s where our information stops, sorry. All we can advise is to stay tuned; the announcement is imminent.
